FAQ: What is the difference between Stock Base vs. Stock Base Shelf

What is the difference between Stock Base and Stock Base Shelf?

The Stock Base is the bottom part of the CradleGrid system. It has a tiered channel to allow for proper lean angle of the firearm. Each Stock Base holds two butt stocks (two firearms). It does not attach to the louvered panels, it rests on a cabinet, shelf, or the floor.

The Stock Base Shelf (also known as the Rifle and Gear Shelf) is used to hold 3 Stock Bases, it attaches directly to the louvered panel to store firearms off the ground, or above other firearms.
